YOUTH HOUSE LEAGUE

An introductory and development house league program for players six years to 13 years old (Elementary school-aged). Outdoor (turf) season runs from late April to the end of August and is played at Oakville or Burlington locations, and Indoor season runs from October to March in Oakville.

 

Players are divided into age groups that follow the learning stages set out in the Long-Term Hockey Development (LTHD) framework, based on Canada’s Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) model.

2025 Outdoor Field Hockey Season

Our Spring Outdoor season runs for 8 weeks starting April 23 and 26th to June 28th. We do not play Saturday, May 17 (Victoria Day weekend).

New and experienced players are welcome.

YOUTH

U10 Spring Outdoor

April 26th - June 28th

2015, 2016, 2017, 2018

Players born in

1 day/week, 1 hour

Saturdays 8am-9am or 9am-10am

Norton Park

3035 Tim Dobbie Dr, Burlington, ON, Canada

This is a 8-week co-ed session focusing on skills and drills for players born between January 1, 2015 - December 31, 2017.

YOUTH

U14 Spring Outdoor

April 23th - June 28th

2011, 2012, 2013, 2014

Players born in

2 day/week, 1 hour

Saturdays between 9am - 12pm (1 hour). Thursdays between 6pm - 9pm (1 hour)

Norton Park and River Oaks Park

2400 Sixth Line, Oakville, ON, Canada

This is a 8-week co-ed development program for those not yet in high school, born between January 1, 2011 - December 31, 2014.
Athletes play twice per week:
7v7 Games: Thursday evenings (1 hour) between 6-9:00 p.m. at River Oaks Park in Oakville.
Practice: Saturday mornings (1 hour) between 9am-12pm at Norton Park in Burlington.
Every U14 athlete will take a turn playing a game in goal.

Required Equipment

Players MUST wear shin pads, a mouth guard, and proper, unmarking indoor athletic shoes.

Players can NOT use their outdoor sticks in the gym. Indoor sticks are lighter and thinner. If you need to borrow one, no problem! We will have some on hand each week.
